On Organization

Organization is not a hard process. The reason why most of us struggle with it is because on some level we are internally disorganized and it flows out of us. This internal disorganization can be metaphysical or spiritual.  However, I’m talking mainly about the internal disorganization that stems from our conditioning.

Here is the problem, organization and systems and their management are directly correlated to how successful we are. If you disagree with me, look at any business that has a messed up accounting system. They will eventually suffer and die as a business because they don’t know where the money is going.

Or take for instance messed up information system. Things get sent to the wrong place and it costs a company money and revenue intensity.

I realize there are some people who are disorganized and are successful, but they are wasting resources of time and energy and could double their money with half the effort if they were organized according to Tom Hopkins.

And then there are those of us who need to work hard to get anywhere. Systems are going to be key in getting that done.

If your life is a mess then you start with the systems closest to you and require the most repair and work your way out. It will go in a simple linear pattern. After you get the house clean, start then with the stuff you have to do during the day, like work, and chores.

Once you build yourself some breathing space then you can work on vision, and cultivating internal systems where you have more control over your emotions and your thoughts, helping you act in line with your vision and not out of it.

Simple, but challenging, that’s all there is to it!

What are some ways you’ve tried to create order in your life?
