On Waking Up

I am not awake.  I am in the process of waking up.

We all are.

The more we learn and apply the more awake or aware we become of our worlds.

The reason why people have the problems they have is because they refuse to wake up.

They metaphorically lay in the bed of life hitting the snooze bar.  Then they are forced out of bed and realize… they have nothing.

Its better both metaphorically and physically to wake up the first time the alarm goes off and embrace life with both arms.

This is dedicated to those who think they are tired of life.  Again, more poetic, but I’m sure it will be enjoyed by all.

Indeed, Dale, you point out the tragic condition of being human. Flawed, apathetic, frequently despicable, but mostly lovable – humans. Perfection is elusive, but the least we can do is get better, because we all have room for improvement. For those who refuse to try, the bed is harder to crawl away from every day.

Thank you kindly for the courtesy of a wake up call. Luckily, I was on my second pot of coffee … this time.
