It’s Too Hard!

This is a phrase that I used when I was a little kid, and I’m sure you did too.  And if you are a little kid reading this, please stop using it; you’re annoying your caregivers when you say it.

The same goes for the adults.  Stop using that phrase!  It only traps you into the mentality.  And you sound like your six!  Instead, what we should be saying to ourselves is:

This is a challenge.

This is Difficult.

Or something along those lines.  I prefer this is a challenge because difficult is daunting.

To quote – St. Francis of Assisi

Start by doing what’s necessary;

then do what’s possible;
and suddenly you are doing the impossible.

I think this post explains its self.  You have the power to do whatever it is you put your back into.  However, it is a process from some it is long and arduous.  What makes the process longer is fighting the process.  You have to go though it to succeed in any area.  To quote another person: The work is the reward.

Cheers!
