Valentine’s Day

In the Spirit of Friday as well as being whopping month late to add to the comedy.  This is a post that  was originally for tuesday-february-14-2012 but hey, better late than never, right?  This was a facebook post originally, but I’m going to rehash the issues. Here.

Ahh yes, the Day of Love.  Jerkasses become sweethearts, and singles become clinical depressives, and those of us who have functional relationships emphasize the romantic and indulgent side of our relationships.  It is a glorious day for us.

Now, I am on a campaign to eradicate negativity from the face of the earth, and I will extend this war to Valentine’s Day and I will address my words to the segments that I have mentioned earlier.

To the jerkasses:  Spread your niceness out throughout the entire year and mean it.  JERK.  If your woman or your man has a brain in their head they will figure out that you will not change and dump you.  If you value your relationships, you will invest more kindness into the relationships and you will do it now!  Learn to be a sweetheart throughout the year, or eventually karma will get you!

To Singles:  STOP WHINING!  Gather up what single friends you have, go out and have some fun on this day.  Who knows?  Something good may come of it.  Take that for what you will.

To the People with Functional Relationships:  Keep up the good work and look to improve your relationships and you will reap the good things you are sowing.

Happy Valentines Day!

P.S.  This can apply to anyone, any day of the year.  Invest kindness, love, caring and sweetness into your relationships.  Work together toward your goals and be proactive about it and you will be happy and more fulfilled than sitting on your laurels and taking others for granted.
